Missy Robbins
Missy Robbins (born 1971) is an American chef known for her expertise in Italian cuisine. She graduated from Georgetown University in 1993 with a major in art history and a minor in psychology. Inspired by a friend, she started her culinary journey by working at restaurant 1789 during her final semester at University. Robbins then moved to New York to attend culinary school at Peter Kump's New York School of Cooking. After graduating, she gained experience at various restaurants including Arcadia and March under Wayne Nish. She has held a Michelin star at two restaurants and appeared as a contestant on Season 4 of Top Chef Masters. Currently, she owns two Italian restaurants, Lilia and Misi, in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, which opened in 2016 and 2018 respectively.
