Mitch Mitchell

Mitch Mitchell (9 July 1946 – 12 November 2008) was an English drummer and child actor. He is best known for his work in the Jimi Hendrix Experience, for which he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1992. Mitchell was also inducted into the Modern Drummer Hall of Fame in 2009. Born in Ealing, Middlesex, to Phyliss C and Thomas J Mitchell, he began his career as a child actor before finding success as a drummer. Mitchell's obituaries indicate that he was 62 years old at the time of his death. He made significant contributions to the music industry and is remembered for his talent and impact.
