Molly O'Neill Biography
Molly O'Neill (9 Oct 1952 - 16 Jun 2019) was an American food writer, cookbook author, and journalist. She is best known for her food column in the New York Times Sunday Magazine and Style section during the 1990s. Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, Molly grew up in a family with five brothers who had a strong interest in baseball. Her father had a background in minor league pitching, while her younger brother, Paul O'Neill, became an outfielder for the Cincinnati Reds and the New York Yankees. Molly's passion for cooking developed as she made dinner for her brothers. She obtained a bachelor's degree from Denison University and later relocated to Northampton, Massachusetts.
