Monte Markham (born June 21, 1935) is an American actor known for his work in both films and television series. He was born in Manatee County, Florida, to Millie Content and Jesse Edward Markham Sr., who was a merchant. After attending Palm Beach State College, Markham went on to graduate from the University of Georgia with a master's degree in theater. Prior to his acting career, Markham served as an officer in the United States Coast Guard for 10 years. Some of his notable roles include Luke and Ken Carpenter in the ABC sitcom The Second Hundred Years, Harry Kellem in the original Hawaii Five-O, and the title role in The New Perry Mason. Markham's diverse range of roles has showcased his talent and versatility.
