Mushtaq Kak

Mushtaq Kak is an Indian actor and director, born in 1961 in Jammu & Kashmir, India. He is known for his work in both theater and film. Kak's parents hail from Jammu & Kashmir, with his father being a Kashmiri from the Kak caste and his mother being a Dogra. He has directed over 100 plays, including works by renowned writers such as Saadat Hasan Manto, Anton Chekhov, Vijay Tendulkar, Krishan Chander, and Sharad Joshi. Kak has received several accolades for his directing, including the Best Director award for plays like Andha Yug, Malika, and Pratibimb. In addition to his theater work, he has also appeared in Hindi movies like Hijack and Sik.
