Myles Garrett Biography
Myles Lorenz Garrett is an American football defensive end for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL). Born on December 29, 1995, in Arlington, Texas, Garrett attended Martin High School where he excelled in football, basketball, and track. He received the Landry Award, given to the top high school player in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, and was rated as a five-star recruit. Garrett went on to play college football at Texas A&M University, earning unanimous All-American honors in 2016. In the 2017 NFL Draft, he was selected as the first overall pick by the Cleveland Browns. Garrett has since been named to four Pro Bowls and two first-team All-Pros during his NFL career.
