Nadia Sirota

Nadia Sirota is an American viola player born in New York. She is known for her unique sound and expressive execution, performing solo works by various composers including Nico Muhly, Daníel Bjarnason, Judd Greenstein, Marcos Balter, and Missy Mazzoli. Her debut album 'First Things First' was released in 2009 and received critical acclaim. Sirota is a member of yMusic, ACME (the American Contemporary Music Ensemble), and Alarm Will Sound. She has collaborated with artists such as Grizzly Bear, Dirty Projectors, Jónsi, and Arcade Fire. Additionally, Sirota hosted a radio show on WQXR's New Music radio stream, Q2Music.
