Nancy Kerr (born 1975) is an English folk musician and songwriter, known for her expertise in playing the fiddle and singing. She is currently a Principal Lecturer in Folk Music at Newcastle University. Kerr gained recognition in the early 1990s through her musical partnership with fellow fiddle player Eliza Carthy, with whom she released two albums. Kerr also collaborated with her mother, singer-songwriter Sandra Kerr, on the album 'Neat and Complete' in 1996. In 2007, she married Australian bouzouki player and singer James Fagan, with whom she has worked extensively since 1995. Kerr was honored as the 'Folk Singer of the Year' at the 2015 BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.
