Nancy Parsons Biography
Nancy Anne Parsons (January 17, 1942 – January 5, 2001) was an American actress known for her roles in film and television. Born and raised in Minnetonka, Minnesota, Parsons graduated from Minnetonka High School in 1960. After taking a 10-year break to raise a family, she returned to acting in 1974 and gained recognition for her role as Miss Amelia Evans in Edward Albee's stage version of The Ballad of the Sad Café. Parsons made her film debut in I Never Promised You a Rose Garden (1977) and went on to portray memorable characters such as Beulah Balbricker in the Porky's film series and Ida in Motel Hell (1980). She also appeared as a guest in various TV shows, including Remington Steele, Baretta, Charlie's Angels, The Rockford Files, Lou Grant, Family Ties, and Star Trek: The Next Generation. Parsons passed away on January 5, 2001.
