Nancy Sandra Sinatra (born June 8, 1940) is an American singer and the elder daughter of Frank Sinatra and Nancy Sinatra (Barbato). She gained recognition with her 1965 signature hit 'These Boots Are Made for Walkin''. Nancy began her singing career in November 1957 on her father's ABC-TV variety series but initially found success mainly in Europe and Japan. In early 1966, she achieved a transatlantic number-one hit with 'These Boots Are Made for Walkin'. Nancy collaborated with songwriter Lee Hazlewood, who wrote and produced most of her hits and sang with her on several duets. Throughout the 1960s, she had 14 titles on the Billboard's Hot 100 chart, with ten reaching the Top 40.
