Naomi Radcliffe (born November 16, 1971) is an English actress known for her roles in stage, television, and film productions. She was born in Oldham, Lancashire to Albert Radcliffe, a Canon of Manchester Cathedral, and Petrina, a teacher. Radcliffe attended The Blue Coat School in Oldham and the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama. Her career began in 1997 with her first professional stage appearance in 'Be My Baby'. She gained recognition for her roles in television series such as 'Band of Gold' and 'The Grand'. Radcliffe is best known for her portrayal of Alison Wakefield in the soap opera 'Coronation Street', a role she played from 1998 to 2000. Her powerful exit scene, watched by 17 million viewers, earned her the British Soap Award for Best Exit. From 2002 to 2005, she played Jean Bradshaw in the BBC drama 'Born and Bred'.
