Natalie Wilson (born September 23, 1971 as Natalie Simmons) is an American gospel musician and artist. She gained recognition in 2000 with the release of her album 'Girl Director' under Interscope Records, which broke into the Gospel Albums and R&B Albums charts. In 2003, she released her second album 'Good Life' under GospoCentric, which also charted on the same charts. Born in Newark, New Jersey, Natalie grew up in a musical family. Her father, Bishop Nathaniel Simmons, founded Sounds of Praise Pentecostal Fellowship Ministries, Inc. and her mother, Johnnie Mae Simmons, was a pastor. Natalie took over the church's choir upon her father's passing and has since made significant contributions to the gospel music industry.
