Natasha Wilson Biography
Natasha Wilson is a New Zealand soprano opera singer of Māori and Pākehā heritage. Born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand, Wilson comes from a musical background. Her father, Brian Wilson, was a tenor vocalist and bass guitarist in the heavy-metal band Naked Blade. He instilled a love of singing in Wilson and her siblings from an early age, encouraging her to pursue classical music. Wilson's first exposure to classical singing was through a DVD of The Phantom of the Opera. She attended Westlake Girls High School and received vocal training from Morag Atchison, a voice lecturer at the University of Auckland. With her diverse heritage and musical talent, Wilson has made a name for herself as a notable soprano opera singer.
