Neil Foster Biography
Neil Alan Foster is an English former professional cricketer, born on May 6, 1962, in Colchester, Essex. Foster played 29 Test matches and 48 One Day Internationals for England between 1983 and 1993. He was known for his fast bowling skills. Foster represented Essex County Cricket Club from 1980 to 1993 and played a vital role in their success. With Foster as their spearhead fast bowler, Essex won the County Championship five times (1983, 1984, 1986, 1991, and 1992). He took a total of 908 first-class wickets, including 97 in Essex's successful 1991 season. Foster also contributed as a tailend batter, scoring two first-class centuries.
