Neil Hurst Biography
Neil Hurst (born June 5, 1982) is an English actor and presenter. He gained recognition for his television and stage theatre career. Hurst attended The Brooksbank School and later studied at the University of Huddersfield. He rose to prominence as the comic sidekick of Vernon Kay on ITV's All Star Family Fortunes. Hurst has since appeared in a variety of TV roles, spanning from drama to comedy, and has also worked as a presenter. Some of his notable TV credits include Benny Grew in Agatha Christie's The A.B.C. Murders, Baz in Coronation Street, Ray Glossop in Doctors, Peter in Fresh Meat, Frank in The Syndicate, and Gary Plunkett in Home From Home. Hurst has also made cameo appearances in Casualty, Moving On, and 4 O'Clock Club. In 2019, he became a series regular on Michael McIntyre's Big Show, assisting Michael McIntyre in pranking the Unexpected Star of the show. These segments were filmed at the London Palladium.
