Nicholas Christopher

Nicholas Christopher is an American novelist and poet born in 1951. He is known for his extensive body of work, which includes seven novels, eight volumes of poetry, and a critical study of film noir. Christopher graduated with an A.B. in English Literature from Harvard College and later returned to New York after traveling abroad. His poetry has been featured in esteemed publications such as The New Yorker, Esquire, The New Republic, and The Paris Review. His novels, published by Viking Penguin and the Dial Press, have been translated into 14 languages. With diverse characters ranging from a young concert pianist to an orphan raised in a hotel, Christopher's work captivates readers worldwide.
