Nick Holder

Nick Holder (born 1969) is a Canadian DJ, producer, and label owner known for his contributions to underground hip-hop and house music. Hailing from Toronto, Ontario, Holder began his DJ career in the early 1980s and was heavily influenced by the Detroit techno scene and DJs like Derrick May and Carl Craig. He is the owner of DNH Records (house) and Treehouse Records (hip-hop), and has been producing music since 1991. With over 60 records under his belt, Holder's work spans various genres from house to disco loops and minimal Chicago style. His single 'Da Sambafrique' gained him cult producer status and his album on NRK Sound Division, 'From Within', received critical acclaim.
