    Nigel Godfrey Biography
    Nigel A. Philip Godfrey, born on 25 April 1951, is an Anglican priest and the Dean of Peel since 2011. He began his career in the clergy after completing his studies at Ripon College Cuddesdon and was ordained in 1980. From 1979 to 1989, Godfrey served as a Curate at St John the Divine in Kennington, and later became the Vicar at Christ Church in Brixton until 2001. In 2001, he took on the role of Principal Ordained Minister Training for the Diocese of Southwark and served until 2007, when he became the Vicar and Vice Dean of St German's Cathedral.
