Nikita Mazepin

Nikita Mazepin is a Russian professional racing driver, born on March 2, 1999. He has competed in various racing championships throughout his career, including Formula One. In the 2021 Formula One World Championship, Mazepin represented Haas F1 Team under a neutral flag on behalf of the Russian Automobile Federation. However, due to the Russian Invasion of Ukraine, Haas terminated their agreement with Mazepin. He also participated in the 2023 Asian Le Mans Series for 99 Racing. Mazepin is the son of Dmitry Mazepin, a Belarusian-Russian oligarch businessman. Notably, he faced controversy for a video posted on Instagram in which he engaged in inappropriate behavior, for which he apologized.
