Nikko Hurtado

Nikko Hurtado (born 1981) is an American tattoo artist known for his expertise in colored portraiture. Born in the San Fernando Valley, California, in 1981, Hurtado started tattooing in 2002. In 2010, he opened his own tattoo shop, Black Anchor Collective, in Hesperia, California, and later a new location on Melrose Ave in Los Angeles in 2017. Hurtado gained recognition through his appearances on TV shows like LA Ink and Ink Master. He has also released instructional DVDs and served as a jury member for the Chaudesaigues Award in 2012. With his unique color theory and technique, Hurtado has tattooed clients worldwide and conducted numerous instructional seminars.
