Nikko Smith

Nikko Smith, born Osborne Earl Smith Jr. on April 28, 1982, is an American singer-songwriter who gained recognition as the ninth-place finalist on the fourth season of American Idol. He is the son of Baseball Hall of Famer Ozzie Smith. Smith auditioned for American Idol in 2005 and made it to the semi-finals but was initially voted off. However, he was asked to come back to replace another contestant and was nicknamed 'The Comeback Kid' by judge Paula Abdul. Despite his return, Nikko was ultimately voted off the show, finishing in ninth place. Currently, Smith is working on his upcoming album, 'The Revolution'.
