Nina Turner

Nina Turner, born Nina Hudson Turner on December 7, 1967, is an American politician, television personality, and former member of the Ohio Senate. She served as a Cleveland City Council member from 2006 to 2008 and was a member of the Ohio Senate from 2008 until 2014. Turner, a member of the Democratic Party, was the Democratic nominee for Ohio Secretary of State in 2014. She is known for her progressive and left-wing politics, often described as far-left. Turner supported Bernie Sanders in his presidential campaigns and served as a national co-chair for his 2020 campaign. Currently, she is the president of the Sanders-affiliated group, Our Revolution.
