Nina Yang Biography
Nina Yang Bongiovi is an American film producer known for her extensive experience in creative development, film finance, and physical production. She co-founded Significant Productions in 2009 with actor Forest Whitaker. Together, they have produced several notable films, including Fruitvale Station (2013), Dope (2015), Roxanne Roxanne (2017), Sorry to Bother You (2018), and Passing (2021). Bongiovi began her career in the United States and Hong Kong film industries, working on projects such as China Strike Force (2000), Mail Order Wife (2004), Confessions of an Action Star (2005), and The Children of Huang Shi (2008). She holds a graduate degree in Entertainment Management from the University of Southern California. Bongiovi is married to Anthony Bongiovi, the younger brother of musician Jon Bon Jovi.
