Noriko Sato

Noriko Sato (佐藤 紀子) is a Japanese figure skating coach and former competitor. She is best known for her ice dancing partnership with Tadayuki Takahashi from 1979. Together, they represented Japan in various international competitions, including the 1984 Winter Olympic Games, where they placed 17th. Sato had a successful career as a figure skater, winning the Japanese national championship six times consecutively from 1980 to 1985. After retiring from competitive skating, she transitioned into coaching and became a prominent figure skating coach in Japan. Sato is also a member of the Japan Figure Skating Instructor Association, where she continues to contribute to the development of figure skating.
