Norman Black
Norman Augustus Black, born on November 12, 1957, is an American former professional basketball player who had a successful career in the CBA, NBA, and PBA. He gained recognition as the former head coach of the Meralco Bolts, San Miguel Beermen, Mobiline Phone Pals, Pop Cola 800s, Sta. Lucia Realtors, and Talk 'N Text Tropang Texters. Additionally, he coached the Ateneo Blue Eagles in the UAAP. Black, also known by the moniker Mr. 100%, played high school basketball at the Cardinal Gibbons School in Baltimore and then attended Saint Joseph's College where he averaged 17 points per game. He briefly played for the Detroit Pistons in the NBA, appearing in three games during the 1980-81 season. Currently, he resides in the Philippines.
