Norman Owen Biography
Norman William Owen (16 March 1915 – 9 September 1977) was an English cricketer. Born in Shepherd's Bush, London, Owen played for the Surrey Second XI in 1934 and 1935 before joining Durham after World War II. He represented Durham in the Minor Counties Championship from 1947 to 1955, playing 59 matches. Owen made his only first-class appearance for the Minor Counties against Kent in 1951, scoring 26 runs and taking a wicket. He bowled right-arm off break and right-arm medium-fast and was a right-handed batsman. Norman Owen's contributions to cricket were notable during his time as a player.
