OG Maco

Benedict Chiajulam Ihesiba Jr., known professionally as OG Maco, is an American rapper from College Park, Georgia. Born on April 23, 1992, Maco gained recognition with his 2014 debut single "U Guessed It," which reached number 90 on the US Billboard Hot 100. He is signed to Quality Control Music since August 31, 2014, and Capitol Music Group/Motown Records since May 20, 2015. Maco was selected as part of XXL magazine's "2015 Freshman Class." In addition to his music career, Maco is also a guitarist and singer, having participated in a band named Dr. Doctor. He draws inspiration from artists such as Black Sabbath, Kid Cudi, Future, and Curren$y. Maco survived a near-fatal car crash in July 2016, which resulted in multiple injuries including skull fractures, broken bones, and heart palpitations.
