Orlando Wells Biography
Orlando Wells (born 9 June 1973) is an English actor and writer. He is best known for his roles as Alex Stanton in the Channel 4 drama As If and Irwin in Alan Bennett's History Boys. Wells has written five original plays, including The Winter Room, Cold Enough, The Tin Horizon, The Woodcutter's Tale, and Four Days in Hong Kong. His play The Tin Horizon received critical acclaim for its gothic futurism and showcased his undeniable talent. Wells also adapted and revised Patrick Hamilton's The Duke in Darkness for a 2013 production, and co-wrote a play with Patrick Eakin Young. Wells's diverse career in both acting and writing has solidified his reputation as a prominent figure in the entertainment industry.
