    Pamela Chan Biography
    Pamela Chan Wong-shui, BBS, JP is a consumer rights activist and academic in Hong Kong. She is best known for her role as the Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Consumer Council (HKCC) from 1985 to 2007, where she championed consumer rights. Additionally, Chan has served as an Executive Member and President of the Consumers International. With a background in social work, she is currently an Honorary Lecturer in the Department of Professional Legal Education at both the University of Hong Kong (UHK) and the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). Chan holds a law degree from Peking University and has served on various Boards and Committees, including the Hong Kong Housing Authority and the Appeals Tribunal of the Hong Kong Federation of Insurers.
