Patrick Bergin Biography
Patrick Connolly Bergin (born February 4, 1951) is an Irish actor and singer known for his roles in various movies and TV shows. He gained recognition for his leading role opposite Julia Roberts in the film Sleeping with the Enemy (1991), as well as for portraying the title character in Robin Hood and terrorist Kevin O'Donnell in Patriot Games. Bergin also appeared as the villainous Aidan Maguire in the BBC soap EastEnders from 2017 to 2018. Born in Dublin, he grew up in Drimnagh and later moved to London, where he ran a theatre company. Besides his acting career, Bergin was an English teacher and holds an education degree from North London Polytechnic.
