Patrick Brantseg

Patrick Brantseg is a former Art Director and performer known for his work on Mystery Science Theater 3000. He joined the show as an intern in 1992 and later became part of the art department under the direction of Jef Maynard. Brantseg took over the role of 'Gypsy' from Jim Mallon in the show's eighth season. He was also given the title of 'utility infielder,' taking care of various tasks around the Best Brains, Inc. offices. Brantseg hails from Sisseton, South Dakota, and studied art at the University of Minnesota. He left the university after two years but continued to pursue a successful career in the entertainment industry.
