Patrick Noonan
Patrick F. Noonan (born 1943) is an American conservationist and former president of The Nature Conservancy from 1973 to 1980, as well as the Conservation Fund. He is a recipient of the Lady Bird Johnson Environmental Award. Noonan holds a BS in Business Administration from Gettysburg College (1965), an MBA from American University, and an MS in City and Regional Planning from Catholic University of America. He has served on three Presidential Commissions, including the Commission on Americans Outdoors, the Commission on Environmental Quality, and the Commission on White House Fellows. Currently, he serves on the board of trustees of the National Geographic Society and is Vice Chairman of the Society's Education Foundation. Additionally, Noonan is a board member of the Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions and previously served as a board member of the Chesapeake Conservancy.
