Paul Gleason Biography
Paul Xavier Gleason (May 4, 1939 – May 27, 2006) was an American film and television actor. He is best known for his roles in popular movies such as The Breakfast Club, Trading Places, and Die Hard. Born on May 4, 1939, in Jersey City, New Jersey, Gleason was raised in Miami Beach, Florida. He attended North Miami High School and Florida State University, where he played football. After a brief career in minor league baseball, Gleason pursued acting and made his television debut on Ozzie and Harriet. He went on to appear in numerous television series, including All My Children, and gained recognition for his versatile performances in both comedies and action films. Paul Gleason passed away on May 27, 2006.
