Paul Hayes

Paul Edward Hayes (born September 20, 1983) is an English former professional footballer and current manager of Dunmow Town. He played as a forward, making over 500 appearances for 11 clubs in all three divisions of the English Football League. Notably, Hayes played for Scunthorpe United, Barnsley, and Wycombe Wanderers. He also had professional spells at Norwich City, Huddersfield Town, Charlton Athletic, Preston North End, Brentford, Crawley Town, Plymouth Argyle, and Newport County. In his later career, Hayes played in non-League football for various clubs. He has previously held sporting director roles at Chatham Town and Bowers & Pitsea. Hayes began his footballing journey with Norwich City as a schoolboy at the age of 13.
