    Paul Sanchez is a New Orleans-born and based American guitarist, singer-songwriter, and actor. He is best known as a founding member of the New Orleans band Cowboy Mouth, where he served as a guitarist and one of the primary singers and songwriters from 1990 to 2006. Sanchez's songs have been featured in films and on television, and have been performed by notable artists such as Darius Rucker, Irma Thomas, and Hootie and the Blowfish. In addition to his music career, Sanchez is also a prolific songwriter, producer, and writer. He has received several awards for his work, including Songwriter of The Year and Best Folk/Rock Album for his album Stew Called New Orleans.
