Paula Badosa

Paula Badosa Gibert is a Spanish professional tennis player. Born on November 15, 1997, she has achieved a career-high singles ranking of world No. 2 by the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) in April 2022. In addition, she has reached No. 124 in doubles. Badosa has won three WTA Tour singles titles and made it to the quarterfinals of the 2021 French Open, her best performance in a Grand Slam tournament. She also clinched her biggest career title by winning the Indian Wells Open, a WTA 1000 tournament, in the same year. Badosa was ranked as high as No. 8 in the junior circuit and won the 2015 French Open girls' singles championship. Her professional breakthrough came in 2019 when she entered the top 100.
