Peggy Walton-Walker is an American film and television actress. She was born Peggy Jean Walton in 1943 in Charleston, South Carolina. Walton-Walker attended Vigor High School in Prichard, Alabama, and graduated in 1961. She earned a Bachelor of Music degree from Birmingham-Southern College in 1965 and was crowned as Miss Birmingham-Southern College the same year. Walton-Walker has appeared in numerous film and television roles, often playing small unnamed characters such as a bookkeeper, receptionist, or nurse. One of her notable appearances was in the 1990 episode 'Pride and Prejudice' of A Different World, where she portrayed Amy, a retail sales clerk dealing with racial prejudice. She also appeared in the acclaimed 1987 episode 'Killing All the Right People' of Designing Women, which tackled important social issues.
