Pete Mangum

Ernest "Pete" Glynde Mangum (January 17, 1931 - March 17, 2000) was an American football linebacker who played two seasons in the NFL for the New York Giants and Denver Broncos. After completing his military service, he joined the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in 1957 and played with the team until 1958. His rights were traded by New York in exchange for quarterback Chuck Curtis. Mangum appeared in 2 games in 1954 and 14 games in 1960. Throughout his football career, he showcased his skills and contributed to the success of the teams he played for.
