Phil Ehart Biography
Phillip W. Ehart (born February 4, 1950) is an American drummer and a member of the progressive rock band Kansas. He has appeared on every Kansas album, making him one of the only two members who have done so. Ehart co-wrote two of the band's biggest hits, 'Point of Know Return' and 'Play the Game Tonight.' In addition to being a drummer, he has taken on management responsibilities for the band. Born in Coffeyville, Kansas, Ehart developed a passion for drums in grade school. Growing up in various locations due to his father's Air Force career, he eventually connected with Kerry Livgren and joined the band White Clover, which later became Kansas.
