Phil Kingston
Phil Kingston (born 1936) is a climate activist and protester known for his involvement with the climate groups Christian Climate Action and Extinction Rebellion. Prior to his activism, Kingston worked as a lecturer at Bristol University. In November 2018, he was arrested for obstructing traffic outside the Houses of Parliament. He has been reported to repeatedly lie back in the road when police attempted to move him. In April 2019, he was arrested again for his participation in a protest that disrupted the Docklands Light Railway. During Extinction Rebellion's October Rebellion in 2019, Kingston was arrested multiple times for various acts of civil disobedience, including graffiti and spraying fake blood on the Treasury building and blocking access to London City Airport.
