Phil Rice

Phil Rice, also known as Philip James Rice, is a songwriter, producer, and keyboard player hailing from Lancashire, England. He is best known for his songwriting and performing partnership with Rick Guard. Throughout his career, Rice has collaborated with renowned artists such as Lionel Richie, Russell Watson, Shirley Bassey, and Ronan Keating. One of his notable achievements was the release of 'Stop It I Like It,' written with Rick Guard, which became a Top 20 hit in eleven countries and ranked as the 75th most played song on radio worldwide. Rice's compositions have also appeared on various albums including 'All or Nothing' with Russell Watson and 'Jubilate Domum' with Jon Christos.
