Philip McGough Biography
Philip McGough (born 1950) is a British actor from Penygraig, Wales. He is widely recognized for his numerous appearances on UK television and his former membership with the Royal Shakespeare Company. McGough's acting career began after he left his teaching job and embarked on a failed Hippy Trip. He made his first major breakthrough on TV in Thames Television's series Rooms as Eddie Graham. Some of his notable television roles include Sergeant Calder in Doctor Who's Resurrection of the Daleks (1984), secret service detective Edwin Woodhall in The Monocled Mutineer (1986), and Charles Dawson in Brookside. McGough is married and has three children.
