    Phillip Lim (born September 16, 1973), also known as Pheng Lim, is an American fashion designer of Chinese descent. His parents immigrated to America from Cambodia during the Cambodian genocide. Lim co-founded the Los Angeles-based fashion label Development from 2000 to 2004 and later co-founded 3.1 Phillip Lim in 2005 with Wen Zhou. He has achieved both critical and commercial success with his eponymous line, receiving awards from the Council of Fashion Designers of America. Lim's fashion label, 3.1 Phillip Lim, is known for its 'street elegance' aesthetic and is projected to have sales of US$60 million in 2011.
