Rae Julia Theresa Abruzzo, professionally known as Rae Allen, was an American actress of stage, film, and television. Born on July 3, 1926, in Brooklyn, New York City, she began her career in theater in 1941 and made her Broadway debut in 1948. In 1958, she transitioned to television and film roles, with her screen debut in Damn Yankees. Allen is known for her recurring parts in sitcom All in the Family (1972-1973) and in The Sopranos. She also appeared in various guest roles in TV shows. Some of her notable film appearances include A League of Their Own (1992) and Stargate. Rae Allen trained at the HB Studio in New York City's Greenwich Village.
