Rahul Mishra

Rahul Mishra (born 7 November 1979) is an Indian fashion designer based in Delhi. He gained international recognition as the first Indian designer to showcase at the Haute Couture Week in Paris. Mishra made history again in 2014 when he won the prestigious International Woolmark Prize at Milan Fashion Week, making him the first Indian designer to achieve this honor. His winning collection was widely distributed in stores worldwide. Mishra's upbringing in a small village fostered his passion for storytelling and inspired his unique designs. He holds a graduate degree in physics from Kanpur University and a postgraduate degree in apparel design from the National Institute of Design (NID) in Ahmedabad, where he was awarded the Best Student Designer Of The Year in 2005.
