Ralph Bell Biography
Ralph Albert 'Lefty' Bell (November 16, 1890 – October 18, 1959) was a professional baseball pitcher from 1909 to 1916. He appeared in three Major League Baseball games for the Chicago White Sox in 1912. Standing at 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 170 pounds, Bell began his career in 1909, pitching for two minor league teams and winning nine games for each. In 1910, he joined the Western Association's Joplin Miners where he had an impressive record of 21-7 and led the league in wins. Bell is considered a part of one of the greatest minor league teams of all time.
