Ramy Romany is an Egyptologist, Documentarian, TV Host, and DGA Director. With a career spanning over a decade, Romany has made significant contributions to the world of documentary filmmaking. He has filmed, produced, directed, and appeared in numerous documentaries, collaborating with esteemed networks like The Discovery Channel, The History Channel, and National Geographic. Born in Cairo, Egypt, Romany relocated to Los Angeles in 2011 due to the political situation in his home country. His exceptional work has earned him a remarkable nine EMMY Awards between 2013 and 2018 for documentaries such as Esperanza, Visioneer, Return to Esperanza, A New Leash on Life: The K9s for Warriors Story, and Rudy Ruettiger: The Walk On. In addition, he has directed notable productions like The Contender, Unprotected Sets, and Operation Toussaint.
