    Randy Crowder Biography
    Randolph Channing Crowder Sr. (born July 30, 1952) is a former American football defensive lineman in the NFL. He played three seasons with the Miami Dolphins and three with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Crowder attended Penn State University, where he was named All-America in 1973. After retiring from the NFL in 1982, he served as the Defensive Line Coach at Penn State University for two years. In 1977, Crowder and another former Dolphins player were sentenced to one year in jail for selling cocaine. After his release in 1978, he continued his football career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Crowder is married to Pauline Pope and they have three children, one of whom is a former Dolphins linebacker.
