Randy Evans

James Randolph Evans, known as Randy Evans, is an American lawyer and diplomat. He was born on September 24, 1958, in Dublin, Georgia. Evans is a member of the Republican Party and specializes in litigation, professional, legal, and government ethics. He served as the United States Ambassador to Luxembourg from 2018 to 2021. Evans presented his credentials to the Grand Duke of Luxembourg on June 19, 2018. Prior to his diplomatic role, he worked as a partner at the global law firm Squire Patton Boggs. Evans was nominated by President Donald Trump for the ambassadorship in September 2017, and his nomination was confirmed in May 2018. He resigned from his position on January 20, 2021, at the end of President Trump's term.
