Raquel Montero (born 1944) is an Argentine-Puerto Rican television and theater actress, show host, and comedian. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, she moved to Puerto Rico in 1969 with her husband, Italian singer Tony Croatto. Montero gained recognition for her work on Puerto Rican television during the 1970s and 1980s, particularly on canal 2 shows. She became friends with astrologer and former actor Walter Mercado, who invited her to appear on his television show. Montero's talent for reciting stories entertained viewers, leading to her appearances on various television programs. Throughout her career, she has made significant contributions to the entertainment industry in Puerto Rico.
